A 64-year-old suspect has been arrested for carrying the body by car and abandoning it in a case where a mutilated body was found last year at the site of a golf course in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Police arrested three other people in connection with the incident last month and are investigating the details.

In January last year, a part of the body of a man mutilated from suitcases and sports bags was found at the site of a former golf course in Nikko City, and another part of the body was found in a vacant house in the city in February.

In this case, the police arrested three people last month, including Taiji Ishikawa (1), an unemployed suspect with an unspecified address, and on the 2th, they newly arrested Masahiro Nakayama (75), a company representative in Adachi Ward, Tokyo.

According to the investigation so far, it seems that the incident was triggered by a request to dispose of the mutilated body, and three of the four people are suspected of hiding the body in a vacant house and cutting it using a power tool called a grinder.

In addition, it is suspected that one person joined and four people carried part of it to the former site of the golf course and abandoned it.

The police are still confirming the identity of the unidentified body and will investigate in detail how they were asked to dispose of it.

Police have not confirmed the identities of the four men, saying they would interfere with the investigation.
