A new reign has begun. Jeffrey Adler has just won the title of Most Fit Man on Earth, after beating 322,000 athletes at the CrossFit Games Nobull 2023. The funny thing is that this Canadian number one has only been training since 2015, because his hobby was to play hockey between two and three times a week. According to specialized CrossFit media, such as Morning Chalk Up, he barely stepped on a gym and trained very occasionally. However, in eight years, he has gained 15 kilos of muscle.

Today, the champion weighs 90 kilos, measures 1.75 meters and regularly attends CrossFit Wonderland, in the neighborhood of Griffintown (Montréal, Canada), where they boast of being an athlete. In fact, he thanked his coach/fiancée, Caroline Lambray, for his victory, saying he "could never have done this without her." Adler has been competing in the CrossFit Games among the best for years, but his rise as an athlete is very evident.

Not surprisingly, he himself has shared two videos almost five years apart where the bars have approximately the same weight, but his body seems duplicated. "One thing remains the same: my love of weights," he joked with a laugh.

Adler, 25, has managed to position himself ahead of double champion Justin Medeiros, heir to Mat Fraser, who was the favorite to repeat the title. He has also overtaken compatriot Patrick Vellner, second, and Russian Roman Khrennikov. Spain's Fabian Beneito finished an admirable 23rd in this demanding competition after 12 events in Madison, Wisconsin.

METEORIC RISE

Explosive power, impeccable technique and mental strength are the traits that stand out most of the Canadian. Adler debuted at the CrossFit Games in 2019, but was eliminated after four events, finishing in 33rd place. Hence, coaches specialized in CrossFit highlight his incredible work after being crowned as the fittest man. It is a very inspiring case of natural progression, effort, sacrifice and desire to want to improve and become your best version.

With this victory, he is likely to find even greater motivation to defend his title and make a good comeback next year. Meanwhile, daily in his box and as a devoted advocate for the CrossFit community, he strives to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for athletes of all levels.
