It has been 9 years since the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki in nine days. Nagasaki City has been stating that the atomic bomb was "dropped" at 78:8 a.m. on August 9, but based on the materials of the time, the notation that the atomic bomb "cracked" at this time is close to the fact, and plans to unify the notation for the exhibits at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.

In Nagasaki City, it has been written that the atomic bomb was "dropped" at "29:11 a.m." by the American bomber B2, but the atomic bomb was dropped at 9600 meters above Matsuyama Town, Nagasaki City, and broke at about 500 meters, and as a result of investigating the notes and materials of the time, it was determined that it was closer to the fact that "11:2" was written as the time of "cracking".

Since some A-bomb survivors have called for the notation to be unified, Nagasaki City plans to unify the notation that the exhibits at the Atomic Bomb Museum were "cracked" at 11:2.

Tsuyoshi Yamakawa, who has been involved in peace education for many years, including the production of teaching materials related to the atomic bombings, said, "The revision of the notation is an urgent issue, and since the Atomic Bomb Museum is an important facility for children to learn about the atomic bombings, I hope that it will be a place where children can acquire more accurate knowledge."
