In response to the problems surrounding My Number cards, the government's comprehensive inspection found that 118 errors in linking My Number and pension information were confirmed for unions that operate pensions, such as local and national public servants.

In response to the problems surrounding the My Number Card, the government is conducting a comprehensive inspection of 29 items of data such as medical care and pensions that can be viewed on Myna Portal, a website dedicated to card holders.

Of these, we conducted an inspection of approximately 510.118 million member data of "mutual aid associations" that operate pensions for public servants and others, and confirmed that there was an error in linking My Number and pension information in a total of 112 cases.

The breakdown shows that there are 6 cases of the Local Public Employees Mutual Aid Association and 100 cases of the Federation of National Public Employees Mutual Aid Associations.

None of them affected the amount of pension payments, and the correction of the link has already been completed.

The cause of the error was 18 cases where the addresses of the target people were not confirmed to match, and 4 cases were due to other paperwork errors, and in the future, in addition to the address, the company plans to thoroughly confirm with four pieces of information: name, date of birth, and gender.

The government will report on these matters at the "My Number Information Inspection Headquarters" to be held in the afternoon of August 8.
