In a lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, the three dancers describe how they were subjected to sexual harassment, discrimination and weight taunting from Lizzo while being employed by the star.
Lizzo, or Melissa Viviane Jefferson as her real name is, is now commenting on the allegations in a post on Instagram.
"I am devastated to learn of these fabricated allegations against me. These are sensational data from former employees (...) The allegations are as incredible as they sound."
Lizzo has previously been known for conveying a body-positive message.
"I am hurt but I will not let the important work I have done be overshadowed by this. I want to thank everyone who has reached out to support me during this difficult time."
