On the afternoon of August 8, the "Symposium on Stimulating the Kinetic Energy of Hong Kong'" was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) John Lee Ka-chiu attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Li Jiachao said that the SAR government and all sectors of society should grasp the opportunities of the motherland and the world, stimulate the unlimited development momentum of the "Hong Kong" train, and move forward at a high speed on the journey of governance and rejuvenation, so that Hong Kong can reach the stage of "prosperity" as soon as possible.

Li Jiachao said that the source of the ancient Chinese character "xing" "xing" originally means to unite the strength of everyone and exert force together. When we write the character "Xing" today, the opening stroke is to write the middle character "same" first. Working together to open a new chapter for Hong Kong is a broad road to stimulate momentum for Hong Kong's "prosperity".

Li Jiachao pointed out that the SAR government and all sectors of society should grasp the opportunities of the motherland and the world, stimulate the unlimited development momentum of the "Hong Kong" train, and move forward at a high speed on the journey of ruling and rejuvenating, so that Hong Kong can reach the stage of "prosperity" as soon as possible. He pointed out that, first, in order to stimulate Hong Kong's "prosperity", it must take the initiative to actively align with the national development strategy and integrate into the overall situation of national development. Second, in order to stimulate Hong Kong's "prosperity", it is necessary to expand smooth and convenient international ties and contribute to regional and international multilateral cooperation. He said that so far, Hong Kong has signed free trade agreements with 20 economies and investment promotion and protection agreements with 31 economies. The HKSAR Government is actively seeking to join RCEP as soon as possible. Hong Kong's accession to RCEP will not only bring endless business opportunities for the local business community and professional sectors in the region, but also contribute to the regional economic development and inject new impetus into trade and investment. Third, in order to stimulate Hong Kong's "prosperity", we must make good use of our right to speak on the international stage and tell Hong Kong's good story. Mr Lee said that he led a delegation to Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia last week, and reached 33 memorandums of understanding and agreements with different units of the three countries within one week, the largest number ever, covering a wide range of areas, opening the door to multi-field cooperation between Hong Kong and the three ASEAN countries and jointly exploring business opportunities. Fourth, in order to stimulate Hong Kong's "prosperity", we must unite and mobilize all energies to strive for Hong Kong, a common homeland. Mr Lee expressed his confidence in uniting the strength of the whole society, coupled with the unlimited support of the state for Hong Kong and the endless opportunities for international opening up, Hong Kong will surely reach new heights and become more prosperous.
