According to reports, in the Qing Dynasty, the wind of examination, epigraphy, and stele science prevailed, and the two types of calligraphy of seal and subordinate were warmed up, and the popularity recovered, and a number of seal books and calligraphy masters appeared, pushing the development of the two types of calligraphy to a new stage, and the Qing Dynasty also became the heyday of the development of seal books and subordinate books since the Wei and Jin dynasties.

In terms of seal books, the history of seal books in the Qing Dynasty can be roughly divided into three periods: early, middle and late, the early stage is the "retro" stage represented by Wang Shu and others, the middle period is the "change" stage represented by Deng Shiru and others, and the late period is the "melting" stage represented by Wu Changshuo and others. In terms of affiliation, the change in the academic atmosphere of the Qing Dynasty also promoted the revival of affiliation. The Qing Dynasty Affiliated Letter directly followed the ancient law, took the Wei and Jin inscription steles and Tang steles, and returned to the Han tablet font on this basis, and gave a new spirit after inheriting the Han Dynasty Affiliated Book. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, the number of famous artists who were good at writing was large, forming a generation peak after the Han Dynasty. In the second unit of the exhibition, the work "Affiliation of Five Words and Words" by Yi Bingshou, a pioneer representative of Zhongxing, is exhibited.

Yi Bingshou's subordinate writing style was formed on the basis of extensive absorption of Han dynasty brick and tile inscriptions and subordinate inscriptions. While accurately comprehending the characteristics of Han Zhi, Yi Bingshou accurately grasped the artistic characteristics of Han Bei Dunhou and added personal understanding, forming his unique style of "blending face into subordination", soothing and plain without losing the grandeur, in sharp contrast with the calligraphy masters Zhao Mengfu and Dong Qichang's calligraphy style. This unit exhibits his affiliated book Five Words: "Chamomile is hidden as a pillow, and Hanmei painting screen." The "signature" letter is for Bitang's brother Zhengzhi. Yi Bingshou. Ren Wu was obtained at Wumen, and Lu did not reinstall the Xiao'an Ji.
