A large-scale international exhibition on the theme of medical care will be held in conjunction with the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, and the organizers expressed their enthusiasm at the press conference, saying, "We want to make it a place to sell Japan advanced technology to the world."

On the 25th, Project Professor Yoshiki Sawa of Osaka University, the founder of the exhibition and a leader who is developing a new treatment method for the heart using iPS cells, held a press conference in Tokyo and explained the purpose of the event.

As a result, the exhibition will be held in June of the same year as an event related to the Osaka-Kansai Expo, which will begin in Osaka from April 2025.

The theme is medical technology and healthcare in general, and medical device manufacturers and healthcare-related companies from 4 countries are aiming to exhibit, and the number of visitors is expected to be about 6,50, which is one of the largest in the world.

In Japan, international exhibitions have been held in conjunction with medical conferences, but since many of them were held in each field, the organizers said, "By focusing on medical care in general, we would like to lead to technological innovation that transcends fields."

Project Professor Sawa, the founder, expressed his enthusiasm at the press conference, saying, "By holding the Expo during the period when overseas attention is gathered, we would like to enhance the effectiveness of dissemination and make it a place to sell high-Japan technologies to the world."

The organizers plan to hold this exhibition every year even after the Expo ends.
