In the case where the body of a man with his head severed was found at a hotel in downtown Susukino and three parents and children were arrested, a 3-year-old daughter and her father had purchased suitcases and knives at a discount store in Sapporo City before the incident, investigators have learned. The police believe that they planned in advance and are investigating the details of the background.

On July 7, a 2-year-old man living in Eniwa City, Hokkaido, was found dead after having his head severed in a hotel room in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City, and three suspects, Runa Tamura (62), whose occupation is unknown, his father, Osamu Tamura (29), a doctor, and Hiroko Tamura (59), a mother and part-time employee, were arrested by the police on suspicion of abandonment or damage to a corpse and sent to the Public Prosecutor's Office on July 60.

Police have not confirmed the identities of the three men.

Previous investigations have shown that a nearby security camera showed Runa leaving alone with a large suitcase a few hours after entering the hotel with the male victim.

Subsequent investigations revealed that two suspects, Runa and Osamu, had purchased suitcases and knives believed to have been used in the incident at a discount store in Sapporo City before the incident.

During the search of his home on the 3th, what appeared to be a suitcase was confiscated, and the police are investigating the details of the situation, believing that it was planned in advance.
