In the Upper Palatinate, a naked man is said to have attacked and injured a federal police officer. The 47-year-old was caught on Sunday, initially dressed only in a thong, when traveling by train without a ticket between Straubing (Lower Bavaria) and Regensburg, police said.
At the office at the Regensburg train station, the man then undressed in front of the emergency services, it continues. When police officers found him on the platform again two hours later, he undressed again. Despite a reprimand, the man is said to have tried to enter the station again. He hit a police officer in the face, who was slightly injured, according to the report.
Investigations into several offences
As a spokesman for the Straubing police said, the 47-year-old is said to have previously insulted and harassed several people in Straubing. According to the information, he had tried, among other things, to masturbate in the courtyard of a private property.
The 47-year-old is being investigated, among other things, for fraudulently obtaining benefits, assaulting law enforcement officers, trespassing and bodily harm.
