According to the news on the website of the Central Meteorological Observatory on July 7, the Central Meteorological Observatory issued an orange typhoon warning this morning. This year's No. 17 typhoon "Talim" has strengthened to typhoon level at 17 o'clock today (4th), with a maximum wind force of 17 (8 m/s) near the center and a minimum pressure of 12 hPa in the center. Yesterday, under the influence of the peripheral cloud system of "Taili", there were obvious winds and rains in Hainan, Guangdong, Fujian, Taiwan and other places, and heavy rainstorms in Hainan Dongfang, Changjiang, Danzhou, Fujian Quanzhou and Fuzhou. It is expected that "Teli" will make landfall in the area from Yangjiang, Guangdong to Wenchang, Hainan this night at the level of a typhoon or a strong typhoon, due to the possibility of a sudden strengthening of offshore intensity, it is recommended that Guangdong, Hainan and other places need to be strict and strengthen the prevention of typhoons and rain.

It is expected that in the next 24 hours, under the influence of "Teli" and its peripheral cloud system, there will be 6-8 level winds in the sea near most of the South China Sea, Beibu Gulf, Qiongzhou Strait, Guangdong coast, Guangxi coast, Hainan Island coast, Xisha Island, Zhongsha, Nansha and Huangyan Dao, of which the northern waters of the South China Sea, Qiongzhou Strait, the northern waters of Beibu Gulf, the central and western coast of Guangdong, the coast of Guangxi and the northern part of Hainan Island will have 9-11 levels, and the wind in the nearby seas and islands where the typhoon center passes has 12-14 and gusts of 15-16.

At the same time, there are heavy to heavy rains in parts of western and southern Guangdong, south-central Guangxi, Hainan Island, southern Fujian and other places, among which, there are heavy rainstorms in parts of southern Guangxi, southwestern Guangxi, north-central Hainan Island and other places, and exceptionally heavy rainfall (250~280 mm) in the southwestern coast of Guangxi and northern Hainan Island.

This morning, there was heavy rainfall in central Jiangsu and Fuzhou, Fujian, more than 100 mm per hour in Nanjing, Yangzhou, Zhenjiang and Fuzhou, Fujian, and more than 2 mm in some stations in Nanjing and Fuzhou. In the past three hours (100-05 hours), the cumulative rainfall in these areas reached 08-200 mm. At present, the rainfall in Jiangsu, Fujian and other places is still continuing, but the rain intensity has weakened.

Yesterday, the highest temperature in Guangxi, Sichuan Basin, southern Hebei, Beijing, Xinjiang, western Inner Mongolia and other places was 35~38 °C, the temperature in eastern and southern Xinjiang was unusually hot, and the temperature in the Turpan Basin exceeded 45 °C. The highest temperature of Xinjiang Turpan Station is 48.7°C, which is very close to the historical record of 49°C for the highest temperature at the station.

It is expected that the high temperature weather in Xinjiang will continue until the 21st. Today, the intensity of high temperature will weaken slightly, and with the arrival of typhoons in South China, Jiangnan and other places, high temperatures will also temporarily retreat.
