2023 is the 20th anniversary of the implementation of the "Thousand Villages Demonstration, Ten Thousand Villages Rectification" project. "The two committees of Tengtou Village took the lead in proposing the development of ecological agriculture and successfully exploring ways to achieve win-win economic and ecological results." Compared with the appearance of Tengtou decades ago, Fu Yanggai, a villager in Tengtou Village, who has reached the age of antiquity, bluntly said that it was "green water and green mountains" that made today's Tengtou "golden mountains and silver mountains".
Ecology is the foundation of Tengtou Village. For a long time, according to the overall planning requirements of the garden-style village, Tengtou Village has divided the village area of less than 2 square kilometers into modern agricultural demonstration parks, entertainment and leisure areas, sightseeing areas, villagers' residential areas and other functional areas.
The reporter learned that the Tengtou people recognized the importance of the ecological environment very early, and as early as 1993, the village party organization established the village environmental protection committee.

"A similar committee is the first of its kind in the country, and in the face of a flood of projects, the environmental protection committee is responsible for pre-reviewing the proposed projects and resolutely preventing projects that do not meet environmental standards from settling in Tengtou." Fu Pingping, secretary of the party committee of Tengtou Village, introduced it.
Since 2003, Zhejiang has comprehensively promoted the project of "<> villages demonstration and <> village rectification". From beautiful ecology to beautiful economy and good life, Tengtou Village has gone through the road of "integration of three beauty".
Especially in recent years, Tengtou Village has combined village construction with ecological environment construction, and the village has invested a total of 2 million yuan to implement the three major projects of "blue sky, clear water and green space", built the country's first village-level air quality monitoring station, established a digital account of Tengtou carbon emission reduction, and adopted a wind-solar complementary lighting system in public areas, and the greening rate of the whole village reached 1%.
Today, details such as not destroying greenery and caring for birds and small animals in the field have not only become a hard rule in the village, but also a conscious action of the villagers.
"Tengtou Village is a national 5A-level tourist scenic spot that combines scenery and village, and the village is the scenery and the scenery is the village." Fu Ping said.

Ecotourism began in 1998, and the village became the first village in the country to sell tickets, and tickets from 5 to 80 yuan witnessed its transformation.
Under the guidance of the "Ten Million Project", in order to provide tourists from all over the world with high-quality rural tourism experience with Chinese characteristics, Tengtou Village has taken the lead in canceling scenic spot tickets since 2019, becoming the first village in China to cancel 5A-level tourist attraction tickets, and the vitality of the village has also been stimulated.
Data show that in 2022, the village will achieve a gross social product of 127.91 billion yuan, a profit tax of 11.73 billion yuan, and a per capita net income of 78000,<> yuan for villagers.
