With her third newly recorded album »Speak Now (Taylor's Version)« Taylor Swift has entered the US album charts »Billboard 1« at number 200. This is reported by the industry service »Billboard« . This also gave Swift the best start of an album this year in the USA.

»Speak Now (Taylor's Version)« is Swift's re-recorded version of her 2010 album »Speak Now«. Because of a dispute with her former label, the singer re-recorded her old albums so that she can freely dispose of the rights again.

Even more important for the history books, however, is another number: Swift achieves her twelfth No. 1 album with »Speak Now (Taylor's Version)«, overtaking Barbra Streisand, who had so far achieved the most chart toppers among all female artists, namely eleven.

In addition, Swift has a total of four albums simultaneously in the top 10 of the new "Billboard 200", as "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" meets Swift's older albums "Midnights", "Lover" and "Folklore" in the charts. She is the first living pop star to have four albums in the top 60 at the same time in almost 10 years. In April 1966, trumpeter Herb Alpert had set this record.

Meanwhile, only one other act had at least four titles in the top 10 at the same time, and that was Prince after his death in 2016. At that time, he had five albums in the top 10.
