"Now what is happening in Yakutia is an extreme anomaly. The temperature from +35 to +37 ° C is a very high temperature for this region. There will be small changes - a decrease in temperature is expected somewhere from + 35 ° C to + 25 ... + 28 ° C, but, unfortunately, this decrease in temperature will pass almost without significant precipitation, the heat will subside, it will not be so strong, but dryness in the forests will remain, and it will only increase. So the situation every day, I think, until the end of this week will only become more complicated," said Shuvalov.

Earlier it became known that the emergency mode was introduced on the territory of Yakutia due to forest fires.

According to the head of the region Aisen Nikolaev, there are 110 forest fires on the territory of the republic on a total area of 61,164 hectares.

Radio 1 reported that the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations warned of a high probability of large-scale wildfires in 15 regions.
