• Spain The most traditional spas to relax

  • Autumn Five of the most beautiful towns in Spain to escape

Whoever is looking for plans for a weekend getaway, a bridge or a well-deserved mini-vacation, here are these proposals for Spain and Andorra.

BARCELONA IN 360º

The Ciudad Condal has, finally, an authentic viewpoint, that of Torre Gloriès, in the square of the same name.

But it is not only that, but in the building created by

Jean Nouvel

in 2005 (former Torre Agbar) it combines art, science, technology... and 360º views, of course.

The aim is to get to know the city in detail from two experiences.

The first, expository, traces the metropolis

minute by minute in real time

through tools such as

big data,

which allows us to discover the number of constellations that will cross Barcelona tonight,

the pollen level today

or the speed of the winds.

The second proposal leads to the 30th floor, 125 meters high, where the gigantic walkable work of art stands

Cloud Cities Barcelona,

by the Argentinian

Tomás Saraceno

.

In it, the visitor feels suspended in a cloud, from where he can reflect on the future of cities from an environmental point of view.

Admission: 15 euros.

Plus the work: 25 euros.

DISNEY'S GOURMET FACE

The most famous theme park in Europe, Disneyland Paris, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year with new attractions led by Spiderman or

the entire Avengers team

and innovative shows with which those responsible throw the house out the window.

From the nightly

Disney D-Light,

housed in

Sleeping Beauty Castle

, to the parade float featuring Disney's top stars from

Dream... and Shine Brighter!

But there is more, since, for its three decades, the complex also launches a gastronomic route that includes

new menus and snacks

inspired by the characters of the factory, as well as the opening of several restaurants, a

diner

in the purest American style and an area with

food trucks serving

Asian cuisine or hot dogs.

The latter are located in Avengers Campus, the last space to arrive at the park, dedicated to Marvel superheroes.

Thus, Iron Man is the protagonist of the

Italian Stark Factory,

while

Pym Kitchen

recreates the atmosphere of a futuristic laboratory from

Ant-Man

and

The Wasp

.

RECORD TIBETAN BRIDGE

One of the last attractions of Andorra is the longest suspension bridge in Europe.

Located in the

parish of Canillo,

its length is 603 meters and its height difference reaches 200. The new architectural work, made up of two walkways, flies over the

Riu valley,

a sea of fir trees at a height of 158 metres.

Access is only possible from Canillo through the Principality's official bus, the journey of which is included in the ticket price (12 euros).

Raised at an altitude of 1,875 meters, it is very close to the

Roc de Quer

viewpoint , one of

the enclaves in nature

most visited in Andorra, also paid.

The combined pass for the bridge and the viewpoint costs 14.5 euros.

As for the width of the first, it is one meter, so only pedestrians can cross it.

The number of these is limited to 160 every hour, so there can't be more than

60 people

at the same time.

750,000 are expected to visit each year.

RELAX IN THE TRAMUNTANA

It is time to escape in the middle of nature, that of the Majorcan Sierra de Tramuntana.

The rural estate Ca'n Beneït is located there, an oasis isolated from the world of more than 70 hectares and only

10 rooms

that adapts its offer to the autumn season.

For these dates, the establishment proposes routes through the surrounding towns such as

Caimari, Selva or Moscari

.

You should also try the seasonal menu (between 40 and 60 euros) at the

Mirabona restaurant,

whose product travels directly from the garden to the table with cuisine rooted in the island's tradition.

The pumpkin, the mushrooms, the chestnut or the almond cannot be missing.

Neither fish like

llampuga or aoret.

As for the meats, the veal, the suckling pig or the lamb stand out.

ROAD TO THE PLEISTOCENE IN BURGOS

Autumn is a good time to visit Burgos.

The list of activities is long, starting with a 4x5 safari through

Paleolithic Living,

the first Pleistocene park with live animals in Europe, which offers a total immersion in Prehistory.

Linked to Atapuerca, it shows this period

up close through fossils and replicas

.

In addition, ten thousand years later, the species that shared territory with the ancestors are observed.

Another activity for nature lovers is a visit to the Apimara apiary, where visitors become beekeepers for a day, in addition to

tasting honey

.

In the area you can also taste craft beers or participate in a wood workshop in

Bascones de Zamanzas

, where the artist Nino Saturnino Fernández makes sculptures with curved and organic shapes inspired by the human body.

Autumn is perfect to discover the province of Burgos.
