The Duchess of Sussex says she studied to take the British citizenship test when she moved to the UK after her engagement to Harry in November 2017.

A test consisting of 24 questions on the history and culture of the United Kingdom

And, for that, she was obliged to pass this famous test, composed of 24 questions on the history, the culture and the institutions of the country of her husband.

"That citizenship test was so tough," Meghan Markle recalled in her podcast.

Prince Harry has not been of much help to him.

"I was studying and I remember screaming, 'Oh my God'. I went to ask my husband 'you know that?', 'and that, you know?' replied: 'no idea'".

Meghan Markle did not obtain British nationality

“I think they made it even more complicated for you, this test,” joked actress Pamela Adlon, guest on the new episode of

"They thought they were going to set the bar really high this time around."

Meghan Markle ultimately never obtained British nationality, as revealed by the
