Practiced to respect the precepts of certain religions, circumcision consists of removing all or part of the foreskin.

Allowing to avoid the accumulation of secretions, it can also be carried out for reasons of hygiene or in response to a medical recommendation.

Research conducted by the WHO and UNAIDS has shown that circumcision reduces the sexual transmission of HIV from women to men.
