Comedian Lee Soo-geun revealed the current status of his wife who had undergone a kidney transplant.

In KBS Joy's'Ask Anything', broadcast on the 1st, Lee Jung-im and daughter Yang Hae-sol, who had undergone a kidney transplant, appeared.

When asked the reason for visiting the'Ask Bodhisattva', Lee Jung-im said, "I am a little bit sick. I had a kidney transplant."

Lee Soo-geun said, "Oh, it's the same as my wife."

Lee Soo-geun's wife, Park Ji-yeon, suffered from addiction to her kidneys when she was pregnant with her second child. In 2011, she had a kidney transplant from her father.

In the broadcast that day, Lee Soo-geun explained, "My wife received a kidney transplant from her father, and that was all broken. It's been 3 years since dialysis."

Lee Soo-geun felt sorry for Lee Jung-im's story and sympathized more than anyone else.

He said, "You have to be careful about eating" and "I must have been so upset because of a disease I didn't even think of," he said, giving advice and comforting words from experience.

Lee Jung-im's trouble is that her daughter asks for a younger brother.

Lee Soo-geun persuaded Mr. Haesol, saying, "My wife is in pain the same as her mother, but my younger brother said she wanted it, but it was bad."

Mr. Lee Jung-im had a great sense of guilt for not taking good care of her daughter because he was working at a company and fighting sickness.

Now he has recovered his health and plays well with his daughter Haesol, but he showed tears in apologetic heart saying that his daughter feels a lot of loneliness.

Seo Jang-hoon said to Lee Jung-im, "I'm sorry that I haven't been able to do so, so if I try to do it all, even if it's a little hard, will it really help my child in the long run. "I think it will work. Even if the child is stubborn, keeping his body in good shape is the best thing for Haesol in the long run."

Lee Soo-geun also said, "Our kids were the same, but if they don't look sick on the outside, it's not painful for them to see them. But since they're in the 5th and 6th grades, the bigger the kids get older. I know'my mother is sick'" I know it's a tough step. Still, you have to be good at managing it and always think good things. You should be grateful that your health has recovered and you're going back,” he said sincerely.
