According to Kofu City, an infection with the new coronavirus was confirmed, and one elderly person who was hospitalized in a medical institution in Yamanashi Prefecture died.
Kofu City does not disclose gender or detailed age because of the strong intention of the bereaved family.
So far, 173 people have been confirmed to be infected in the prefecture, and the fourth person has died.
