Asahikawa City, Hokkaido, has announced that one new woman in her 20s has been confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The woman is a relative of a nursing assistant in her 60s who worked at the Asahikawa Red Cross Hospital where an infection was confirmed on the 28th of last month.
On the 1st, 15 people had already been infected in Sapporo and Otaru, and the total number of confirmed infections on the 1st was 16 in Hokkaido.
Now the total number of infected people in Hokkaido is 17,97.
