More than 200 people confirmed daily infection for 2 consecutive days, and 100 or more for 21 consecutive days.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, infections were confirmed in 250 men and women under the age of 10 to 90, of which 160 were in their 20s and 30s, accounting for 64%.
With this, the total number of confirmed infections in Tokyo was 11,861.
Also, the number of severely ill patients increased by one from 28 days to 22.
