21 new infections confirmed in Okinawa, the highest in one day New Coronavirus July 28, 16:55
Okinawa Prefecture announced that 21 men and women in their 20s and 60s were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus. The number of people per day has reached a record high for two consecutive days, and the number of confirmed infections in Okinawa is now 231.
In addition, the U.S. Army reported that a total of three new infections were confirmed at Kadena Air Base and Camp Hansen.
Now there are 239 confirmed infections among US military personnel in Okinawa.
