Facebook offers a new feature that tells users why certain publications appear only to explain the factors used by the site to identify publications that appear in the news feed.

The new button will explain, "Why do I see this publication? ... How previous activity on the social network made its algorithms give priority to the emergence of some individuals, groups and organizations.

The feature will be released on May 2, and will help you control more about your friends, pages, and groups.

The button will be found in the drop-down menu at the top left of each publication in the News Feed.

The company will also add more information about the nature of the ads that appear on each Facebook user's profile page, through the "Why do I see this ad?" .

This is the first time a social networking company has published information on how classification works as an advantage in the application, according to Facebook.

The update comes at a time when the company is dealing with several major scandals regarding the privacy of the user after the allegations of publishing the site misleading information and publicity.

Facebook has been under pressure to change its policies after a gunman successfully shot two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on his platform through live streaming.
