China News Service Jiujiang, Jiangxi, November 11 (Reporter Liu Wenwen) At about 24 o'clock in the morning of the 24th, the elevated steel structure of the east station building of Lushan Station in Jiangxi Province and the west station building were accurately docked at a height of dozens of meters, marking the completion of the world's first large-scale station transformation steel structure overall cross-line jacking at Lushan Station, and refreshing the four world records of the steel structure width, weight, area and number of slides in the cross-line jacking construction of the station building renovation project.

Lushan Station is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, with a total construction area of about 6,8 square meters and a depot scale of 25 sets and 10 lines, which are divided into two phases of construction in the east and west stations, designed by the Fifth Survey and Design Institute of China Railway, and China Railway Construction is responsible for the construction. Among them, the Beijing-Kowloon Railway is the main railway traffic artery connecting the north and south of China, and is one of the busiest railway trunk lines, with an average of one train passing every three minutes.

The total width of the steel structure of the east station of Lushan Station is 176 meters, the total length is 90 meters, the total weight is 4300,15840 tons, and the coverage area is 38,5 square meters, which is equivalent to the size of <> standard basketball courts, and is composed of <> single structures such as waiting layer trusses, transfer corridors and overpasses.

"The steel structure combination weighing 4300,10 tons will be pushed into place across <> railway business trunk lines, which is original in the field of domestic station building renovation and the first time in the history of station building construction in the world." Dong Shilin, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said.

According to reports, the successful completion of the overall cross-line jacking of the steel structure of the large-scale station reform of Lushan Station provides new ideas and technical support for the construction of the same type of station building in the future to improve construction efficiency, reduce operational losses, and ensure the safety of business lines. In the next step, the construction of Lushan Station will enter the final sprint stage, laying a solid foundation for it to be put into operation in 2024. (ENDS)
