Andy Warhol limited the fame time of most mortals to 15 minutes, but living like a celebrity, at least for a few days, is also possible. Especially considering that many of them rent out some of their properties to keep them occupied and get some return on them.

The specialized portal Escapada Rural has compiled several properties that "belong or belonged" to well-known faces in Spain with the purpose of "making you feel like a celebrity staying in them".

This is the case of the iconic blue house of Lucía Bosé, the Italian actress and matriarch of the Bosé saga, whose new owners have converted it into rural accommodation accessible to any traveller. "The accommodation is located in the village of Brieva, has 28 beds and has a heated swimming pool, fireplace, garden, bar, terrace and much more. The famous blue colour – marked as a stamp of his personality – used in the original decoration, is still present today, as well as the famous statue of the blue cow.

Villa Viruta is located in Cadiz. It is the villa belonging to the journalist Beatriz Trapote and her husband – and also brother of Jesulín de Ubrique – Víctor Janeiro. The accommodation has 6 beds and is located in the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz, in the municipality of El Bosque. Activities such as hiking or mountain biking can be enjoyed in the surrounding area, or short breaks can be organised to places such as Grazalema, Setenil de las Bodegas or Prado del Rey.

In the heart of Lleida is the Casa del Moliner, owned by popular Masterchef contestant Arnau París. The accommodation is part of the Molí de la Vansa family project, in which the Paris family focuses its attention on the countryside of Lleida to recover native crops such as vineyards, olive trees, cereals and horticulture.

"The Miller's House once served as a hospice for day laborers and millers who work in the mill. Today it is a cozy rural accommodation that has 7 beds," says Escapada Rural, a platform that houses 19,000 rural accommodations throughout the country.

Armando del Río's rustic retreat is another of the rental properties, better known as the Wooden House in the Alto Tajo, located in Guadalajara. Years ago, the actor bought a piece of land in the town of Trillo. In 2010 he finished building it and got married in the garden. The protagonist of the series Mía es la venganza de Telecinco highlights in the description of the house that it is an accommodation to enjoy calmly and that it does not have "the necessary time to go as much as I would like".

It is a 130 square meter accommodation with stunning views of the surroundings. It has large windows, a chill out area, a space for games (darts, table tennis, rackets...), a private pool and a pellet stove.

And from Guadalajara to Zaragoza. Lovers of literature, medieval buildings and mystery will be able to enjoy a night in the body of a king in any of the castles of the Aragonese writer Luis Zueco. And the fact is that the author of the trilogy The Castle, The City and The Monastery tells in an interview with EscapadaRural that "Since I was a child I have been in castles and I played in them without being very aware of what they were".
