• CPI. Inflation continues to rise and accelerates in September almost one point to 3.5%

Nine out of ten products have seen their cost increase in the last year. Although some do it more than others, no supermarket chain, of whatever type, has prevented the upward trend from affecting the prices they offer to users, according to an OCU report published on Wednesday.

Unlike last year, the rise has affected the different distributors more homogeneously. Among those that have fattened their customers' tickets by more than 15% compared to the previous year are E. Leclerc, Superco, Carrefour Express and BM Urban. On the contrary, and around 8% are Eroski City, Eroski and Masymas.

However, these prices may vary throughout the Spanish geography. For example, the inhabitants of Vigo and Murcia spend less going to an Alcampo their cities than they could in others.

The city of Madrid, on the other hand, has the two most expensive establishments in Spain. Both belong to the national group Sánchez Romero and are located in Arturo Soria and Castelló.

This generalized increase in food and drugstore generates that households endure a loss of their purchasing power. In this way, you stop consuming fresh products and opt for products made in the absence of a nutritious diet.
