The company is also continuing the work of laying railway tracks in the Emirate of Fujairah to be completed in the coming weeks, bringing it closer to completing the development of the national railway network according to the approved schedule, in line with the objectives of the "National Railways Program", the largest integrated system for sustainable transport in the emirates The state, which aims to link the emirates of the state via railways and accelerate comprehensive development.

The track in the Emirate of Sharjah extends for 45 km as part of the last package of the project, which extends over a distance of 145 km.

The work on linking the emirate to the main line took more than 11.7 million hours in 25 months, during which about 2,900 people from the workforce, experts and engineers participated. It included installing railway tracks and conducting quality tests for the new track. km, and work on connecting the emirate to the main line took 1.3 million hours within 25 months, during which about 350 people, including laborers, experts and engineers participated.

The project path in the last package of the second phase includes 54 bridges and 20 animal crossings, as well as the construction of 9 tunnels that make their way in the Hajar Mountains at a distance of 6.9 km, including the longest railway tunnel for heavy loads in the Arabian Gulf region with a length of 1.8 km.
