Turkish exports to Russia fell to $670 million in February

Highlights: Turkish exports to Russia fell to $670 million in February. Russia is the leader in imports of goods and services with an indicator of $4.15 billion. Earlier it was reported that Russia took third place among the largest gas suppliers to Turkey in 2023, overtaking Kazakhstan in this indicator. The European Union purchased oil, oil products and gas from Russia in the amount of more than €29 billion in2023. The top three also included China, Germany and the U.S.

The Turkish Ministry of Trade reported a decrease in the volume of Turkish exports to Russia in February to $670 million compared to $1 billion in February 2023.


As TASS reports with reference to department statistics, the leaders in exports were Germany ($1.723 billion) and the USA ($1.33 billion).

At the same time, Russia is the leader in imports of goods and services with an indicator of $4.15 billion. The top three also included China and Germany.

Earlier it was reported that Russia took third place among the largest gas suppliers to Turkey in 2023, overtaking Kazakhstan in this indicator.
