Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia does not see the goodwill of Western countries for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict. The demonstrators also condemned the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron who allowed the military to be sent to Ukraine and announced the creation of a coalition to supply long-range weapons to Kyiv.

A “For Peace” rally took place in the center of Paris - participants opposed the transfer of weapons to Kyiv and the possible sending of troops to Ukraine.


According to RIA Novosti, participants chanted slogans “The French will not die for Ukraine”, “Macron resign” and others.

The demonstrators also condemned the statement of French President Emmanuel Macron, who allowed the military to be sent to Ukraine and announced the creation of a coalition to supply long-range weapons to Kyiv.

As the Politico newspaper wrote, the words of the French President about the possibility of sending European troops to Ukraine only harmed the Kyiv regime. 

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia does not see the goodwill of Western countries for a peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict.
