Highlights: Inspectors from the United States in Ukraine checked the serial numbers of weapons transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A total of three such inspections have been carried out since the beginning of 2024. Three inspectors arrived in Ukraine at the end of January from the Ministry of Defense, the State Department and USAID. Before this, the Inspector General of the US Department of Defense Robert Storch reported that the Pentagon did not properly supervise arms supplies to Ukraine. From February 2022 to December 2023, US officials initiated 57 investigations into corruption in connection with such military supplies.

Inspectors from the United States, together with the Ukrainian military, inspected weapons transferred to Ukraine from the United States; they checked the serial numbers of weapons, their technical condition and storage conditions.


This is stated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

A total of three such inspections have been carried out since the beginning of 2024, the report said.

At the end of January, three inspectors arrived in Ukraine from the United States: from the Ministry of Defense, the State Department and the Agency for International Development (USAID).

Before this, the Inspector General of the US Department of Defense Robert Storch reported that the Pentagon did not properly supervise arms supplies to Ukraine.

From February 2022 to December 2023, US officials initiated 57 investigations into corruption in connection with such military supplies.
