Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni claims that the Palestinian Hamas movement would not have attacked Israel if Russia had not launched a special military operation in Ukraine.

Meloni expressed this opinion in an interview with the newspaper Il Giornale.

“If Russia had not invaded Ukraine, Hamas would most likely not have launched such an attack on Israel,” she said.

According to the Italian prime minister, outbreaks of world conflicts will multiply if “international legality” is not restored in Ukraine.

Earlier, Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that the Russian Federation, as a result of a special operation, would end the war started by Kiev in the Donbass.

As President Vladimir Putin emphasized, what Ukrainian nationalists did in Donbass after the coup was genocide.
