They were apparently stabbed: three women were found dead in a brothel in Vienna.
The suspect is a 27-year-old who was arrested in a park near the crime scene in the Brigittenau district on Friday evening, according to a police spokesman.
The Austrian online platform OE24 reports that a man called the emergency number around 9 p.m. after discovering a trail of blood leading from the brothel onto the sidewalk.
The emergency services could no longer do anything for the three victims.
The suspect also had cuts, said the police spokesman.
But these are not life-threatening.
He received emergency medical care from emergency services and was taken to the accident department of a hospital.
According to initial findings, the three women are said to have worked in the brothel.
Apart from them, no one was in the establishment at the time of the crime.
