Highlights: The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine called on the West to give Kyiv all available weapons and equipment. Alexey Danilov said that this equipment would become “scrap metal, which they will absolutely not need, since there will be a completely different war.” Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba blamed the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdiivka on Western countries that did not supply enough shells to Ukraine. It was also reported that the International Monetary Fund may soon sign an agreement with Ukraine to provide it with a tranche in the amount of $900 million.

The West must transfer all available weapons and equipment to Kyiv, since they will no longer need it in other conflicts, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov said in an interview with journalist Natalya Moseychuk.

“We have vast experience, and we understand that Europe will no longer need those guns, tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and much more for the next war.

And now they urgently need to transfer everything to us,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

Danilov said that this equipment would become “scrap metal, which they will absolutely not need, since there will be a completely different war.”

“All these F-16s and so on are, of course, a good and useful thing, but it’s better to give them to us.

We understand exactly how to use all these things,” he added.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba blamed the defeat of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdiivka on Western countries that did not supply enough shells to Ukraine.

It was also reported that the International Monetary Fund may soon sign an agreement with Ukraine to provide it with a tranche in the amount of $900 million as part of a $15.6 billion loan.
