The head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, presented the Golden Star medals to the military personnel, participants of the Northern Military District and shoulder straps of senior officers.
“Shoigu, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, presented Gold Star medals to Russian military personnel who showed courage and heroism in carrying out the tasks of a special military operation,” the department said.
