Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that Russia is ready for dialogue to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that now the ball is not in Russia's court regarding negotiations with Ukraine. Zelensky only needs to lift the ban on dialogue with Moscow, Lavrov said. The politician said this in an interview with Russian media. He added that Russia, even after using military means in Ukraine, tried to end the conflict peacefully.

Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia’s conditions in possible negotiations to resolve the situation in Ukraine are clear - recognition of the results of a special military operation.

The politician said this in an interview with Russian media.

Medvedev pointed out the futility of attempts by Western politicians to “push” Kyiv in the direction of negotiations.

He added that there is an explanation for this.

“Because they realize, as soon as they say: “We are ready for negotiations with Russia” (and their conditions are clear - this is recognition of the results of the SVO), their head will be immediately torn off, they will be demolished,” RIA Novosti quotes him.
