Highlights: Russia and Belarus discussed US military-biological activities in Ukraine. Representatives of Russia and Belarus took part in consultations in Moscow. Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the use of US chemical weapons by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The two countries also discussed the implementation of the bilateral intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding on issues of ensuring biological safety, as well as issues of optimizing and increasing the efficiency of implementing the goals and provisions of this document. The talks were held in the Russian capital. The meeting was attended by Russian and Belarusian officials.
The military-biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine became the topic of consultations in Moscow, in which representatives of Russia and Belarus took part.
A message published on the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes that during the consultations the parties exchanged assessments of threats to biological security at the international and regional levels.
“Particular attention was paid to the military-biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine,” the material says.
In addition, representatives of Russia and Belarus discussed the implementation of the bilateral intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding on issues of ensuring biological safety, as well as issues of optimizing and increasing the efficiency of implementing the goals and provisions of this document.
