Last year, a 24-year-old driver was arrested by the police on suspicion of forcible indecency after accusing a female junior high school student of obscene behavior on a street in Sagamihara City under the guise of doing an interview for NHK.

The driver who was arrested was Kazuma Takeda (24), who lives in Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City.

According to the police, in February last year, on the street in Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, a 14-year-old junior high school girl was suspected of having approached and touched her body in an obscene manner. After receiving a report, we investigated footage from surrounding security cameras and arrested him on the night of the 19th.

The suspect, Takeda, had approached junior high school girls under the guise that he was doing an interview for an NHK program, but he had no connection with NHK and told investigators, ``I remember talking to the woman, but I don't remember touching her.'' It is said that the statement is vague.

Police are investigating whether there are any other similar incidents.
