State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin said that State Duma deputies at a plenary session on February 20 will discuss the ban on advertising on the resources of foreign agents.


As stated in the Telegram of the legislative body, he announced this following a meeting of the Duma Council.

“Many of the scoundrels who received them do not hide the fact that they donate funds to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which kill our soldiers, officers, and civilians. This must be stopped,” Volodin’s statement is quoted.

The bill bears the signatures of 395 State Duma deputies.

Earlier, a bill was introduced to the State Duma prohibiting Russian citizens and companies from placing advertisements on the websites of foreign agents, on their social networks and on other Internet platforms.
