Russian air defense forces suppressed 73 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the weekend in the area of a number of settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic.
As the press service of the DPR Defense Headquarters reported with reference to the regional FSB department, Ukrainian drones were detected and suppressed over Donetsk, Makiivka and Yasinovataya.
“Of these, one strike drone of the Baba Yaga type, carrying improvised explosive devices based on the TBG-7 thermobaric grenade and the PTAB-2.5KO aerial bomb, was intercepted and neutralized by the FSB explosives technicians,” the report says.
Earlier it was reported about a British kamikaze drone that was intercepted in the Novoazovsky region of the DPR.
