This was reported by the press service of the regional SUSC of Russia.

“According to the investigation, in 2022, a 41-year-old previously convicted defendant organized a religious group in several villages of the Staromainsky district, which his three acquaintances helped him lead,” the report says.

Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee for the Zaporozhye region opened a criminal case against a 51-year-old resident of Melitopol, who led a religious organization banned in Russia. As the department clarified, she is involved in the dissemination of false information about the Russian Armed Forces.
