Pobeda Airlines was fined 30 thousand rubles for selling more tickets than seats on a plane from Novosibirsk to St. Petersburg.

According to the department, in December 2023, the airline “illegally refused to transport two passengers” who had purchased tickets because the number of available seats on board the aircraft was exceeded.

“The company was brought to administrative responsibility... with a fine of 30 thousand rubles,” the message says.

Earlier it was reported that the Pobeda Airlines plane, flying from Moscow to Kemerovo, made an emergency landing at Novosibirsk airport due to a technical malfunction.
