Highlights: Moskalkova: the Ukrainian Ombudsman did not respond to a request about the downed Il-76. “A lot of time has passed since the letter was sent, but the question posed has not yet been answered,” she said. She emphasized that this position of Kyiv testifies to its “criminal indifference” to the lives of defenseless people. She also addressed the international human rights community, foreign media and politicians, noting that by ignoring the facts of genocide by Kyiv, they unwittingly become accomplices in crimes.

Russian Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova said that her Ukrainian colleague Dmitry Lubinets did not respond to her request about the Il-76 plane that crashed in the Belgorod region with Ukrainian prisoners of war on board.

She wrote about this in her Telegram channel.

“A lot of time has passed since the letter was sent, but the question posed has not yet been answered,” she said.

Moskalkova emphasized that this position of Kyiv testifies to its “criminal indifference” to the lives of defenseless people.

She also addressed the international human rights community, foreign media and politicians, noting that by ignoring the facts of genocide of civilians by Kyiv, they unwittingly become accomplices in crimes.

Earlier, the Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said that to date, no foreign countries have responded to the call for an international investigation into the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on the Il-76.

The US State Department refused to comment on the data that a Russian Il-76 plane with Ukrainian prisoners of war on board was shot down by the Ukrainian Armed Forces using an American Patriot air defense system.
