The Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the UN refused to participate in a meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the shelling of Belgorod by Ukrainians, including with Czech weapons.


Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský wrote about this on his social networks.

"We will not allow Russia to summon us anywhere," TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that the Russian side demanded a meeting of the UN Security Council on Belgorod and summoned the permanent representative of the Czech Republic to it.
