The Russian Emergencies Ministry said that as a result of the shelling of Belgorod by Ukrainians, 12 adults and two children were killed.

"Another 108 people, including 15 children, were injured," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Earlier it was reported that nine adults and one child died due to the shelling of Belgorod by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has already said that Moscow doctors will provide assistance to the victims in Belgorod.

Also, the authorities of the Voronezh and Lipetsk regions expressed their readiness to help Belgorod.

At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, said that on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a team of the Ministry of Health flew to Belgorod.
