Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, called the terrorist attack by Ukrainians on Belgorod "a bloody crime of Bandera bastards."


"It is obvious that the terrorist attack on Belgorod and the death of our citizens is a bloody crime of the Bandera bastards from the powerlessness to change something at the front. I wish a speedy recovery to the injured, strength to the families and friends of the victims," he wrote on VKontakte.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Belgorod with two Vilkha missiles in cluster munition, as well as Czech-made Vampire MLRS rockets.

According to the Russian Emergencies Ministry, as of 17:58 Moscow time, 12 adults and two children were killed as a result of the shelling of Belgorod by Ukrainians. Another 108 people, including 15 children, were injured.
