According to him, the center of Belgorod is now blocked after the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the sirens of ambulances and the Ministry of Emergency Situations can be heard everywhere.

He also noted that the city has rallied and everyone helps each other.

"They call construction companies who have stocks of film and plywood. It is urgent to close roofs and broken windows," the source said.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Belgorod with two Vilkha missiles in cluster munition, as well as Czech-made Vampire MLRS rockets.

According to the latest data from the Russian Emergencies Ministry, 12 adults and two children were killed as a result of the shelling of Belgorod by Ukrainians. Another 108 people, including 15 children, were injured.
