The governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, said that a group of 125 children and accompanying adults were taken off the Tyumen-Adler train and sent to an infectious diseases hospital in the region.


It is noted that one child complained of fever.

"The medics accompanying the group of vacationers and the ambulance team that arrived on the spot carried out all the necessary measures," Busargin wrote on Telegram.

The governor stressed that Rospotrebnadzor promptly deployed a mobile laboratory on site.

After the examination, the children were sent to an infectious diseases hospital in the Saratov region for examination.

Earlier, Alexander Dmitriev, an infectious disease doctor, head of the Center for Epidemically Significant Infectious Diseases of the National Medical Research Center for Phthisiopulmonology and Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Health of Russia, named the reason why children are more likely to suffer from mycoplasma pneumonia.
