Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the enemy is trying to reach the most important facilities of the Eastern polygon of Russian railways, which includes the facilities of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the Baikal-Amur Mainline.

The head of state said this during a speech at the congress of railway workers.

"The enemy is trying to reach the most important infrastructure facilities of the Eastern Polygon," Putin stressed.

The Russian leader called on those who work in this area to be especially attentive.
