Secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Roman Kostenko said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not take into account the capabilities of disabled conscripts, sending them to assault units.

He said this in an interview with NTA.

According to Kostenko, a conscript is of limited fitness only for the military registration and enlistment office, and when he gets into the army, this issue disappears.

In the military registration and enlistment office, conscripts with limited fitness are given staff and rear positions, however, in military units, they break any promises, he added.

In his opinion, this policy of the army has a negative impact on the influx of volunteers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On December 2, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that comprehensive measures were needed to solve the problem of mobilization in Ukraine. According to him, it is not only about the number, but also about the conditions and terms of service.

Colonel of the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan said that Ukrainian officials need to be sent to the front due to a shortage of military personnel.
