Team time trial was on the agenda when the premiere of the cross-country cup Ski Classics took place in Bad Gastein, Austria, on Saturday.

Swedish-Norwegian Team Engcon was one of the favourites and the team lived up to expectations.

Ole Jörgen Bruvoll and Amund Hoel gave the team perfect conditions. The Norwegian duo handed over to the Swedish women Ida Dahl and Hanna Lodin – 4.5 seconds ahead of Team Eksjöhus after 6.3 kilometres.

"The difference is huge"

Dahl and Lodin then extended their lead further on their stage and finally crossed the finish line – 24 seconds ahead of second-placed Team Eksjöhus.

"The difference is big – we knew it would be. Hanna Lodin has really had to squeeze out everything she has today when Ida Dahl has whipped on, commented SVT Sport's expert Ander Blomquist.
